{"id":2187,"date":"2020-01-19T00:06:45","date_gmt":"2020-01-19T05:06:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kenyaembassydc.org\/staging\/wordpress\/?page_id=425"},"modified":"2020-01-19T00:06:45","modified_gmt":"2020-01-19T05:06:45","slug":"namechange","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kenyaembassymexico.mx\/es\/namechange\/","title":{"rendered":"Cambio de nombre en el pasaporte"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone who wishes to do a name change either through marriage, divorce or deed poll should apply for a new passport and would require the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Name change as a result of marriage should provide a copy of marriage certificate duly certified and registered at your local county clerk\u2019s office.<\/li>\n<li>In case any partner had a previous marriage, proof of dissolution will be required.<\/li>\n<li>In case of divorce, forward divorce decree duly authenticated.<\/li>\n<li>Name change other than above, forward deed poll (document prepared and registered at the Registrar of Documents in the Ministry of Lands in Nairobi) and a copy of Kenya Gazette effecting name change.<\/li>\n<li>Corrections of date of birth and\/or place of birth, forward a copy of Birth certificate both sides that was used to acquire the passport (bearing the stamp from Immigration Department) and original expired passport if any.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional documents may be requested depending on a particular case.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/kenyaembassymexico.mx\/es\/epassport\/\">Proceed to application for replacement passport.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone who wishes to do a name change either through marriage, divorce or deed poll should apply for a new passport and would require the following: Name change as a result of marriage should provide a copy of marriage certificate duly certified and registered at your local county clerk\u2019s office.
