1. Regaining Kenya Citizenship\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • For Kenyans born either in Kenya or abroad before 27th August 1987<\/strong> and who acquired other nationality BEFORE<\/strong> 27th August 2010<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Please note that all applicants who apply for Regaining Kenya citizenship are also required to apply for Declaration of Dual citizenship (make sure to read the instructions thoroughly and submit all the required documentations and fees).<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    1. \u00a0Regaining form duly completed Form 5\u00a0
      <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. \u00a02 (two) copies of Kenyan passport (Biodata page only)<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. \u00a02 (two) copies of valid Passport of the other country (Biodata page only)<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. \u00a02 (two) copies of Naturalization Certificate of the other country.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. \u00a02 (two) passport size pictures. (Note: Most current picture taken maximum within the last one month<\/strong>)<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. If your name on the Other country’s documents are different from your name on the Kenyan documents, please provide 2 (two) copies of supporting documentation e.g Marriage Certificate, Divorce decree, Kenyan deed pool (Official name change process) etc.<\/span>NB – Foreign Petition for Name change done outside Ke is not legally recognized in Kenya.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
    7. A Money Order or Cashier’s Check of 9,360 Mexican Pesos, Payable to Embassy of The Republic of Kenya<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    8. A self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your documents. The envelope should have enough postage for DHL (NB: Metered stamps and Regular mail are not acceptable).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      2. <\/b>Declaration of Dual Citizenship<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • For Kenyans above 18 years of age<\/strong> who are also nationals of other foreign countries (acquired another nationality AFTER<\/strong> 27th August 2010<\/strong><\/span>)
        <\/span><\/li>\n
      • A dual citizen is required to disclose her\/his other citizenship within three months of becoming a dual citizen.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Applicant must be 18 years or above.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Declaration form duly completed Form 2 (Notarized on page 2)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
        3. 2 (two) copies of Kenyan Passport (Biodata page only).<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
        4. 2 (two) copies of Kenyan National I.D and \/ or Kenyan Birth Certificate.<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. 2 (two) copies of valid Passport of the other country (Biodata page only)<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n
        6. 2 (two) copies of Naturalization Certificate of the other country.<\/span><\/li>\n
